The Sixth Annual Festival of Trees is a community-wide celebration featuring nearly 70 holiday trees in a rustic winter-wonderland setting. The trees are uniquely decorated by local businesses, civic organizations and families.

The Festival is designed to raise awareness and provide support for the Senior Resource Center which serves the Chester, Mendham, Long Valley and surrounding communities. The Senior Resource Center is a non-profit organization that provides services to elderly, their families and caregivers. Those services include: assisting with searches for affordable housing; mediation for families who are unable to agree on a care plan for a loved one; assisting with nursing home placement and home care referrals; assisting with applications for social security, food stamps, Medicade and prescription discounts; and getting seniors access to transportation.
